When Black Friday rolls around, we know exactly where we won’t be: standing in lines, scrolling for deals, or rushing through checkout screens. Instead, we’ll be out where the air is crisp, the water’s cold, and the mountains remind us what really matters.

At Idaho River Sports, the outdoors isn’t just what we sell, it’s who we are.

We’re a crew of paddlers, anglers, floaters, and wanderers who live for that feeling of loading up the rig, pulling on a dry suit, and heading toward the water. Whether it’s a glassy morning paddle on Quinn’s Pond, a quiet float down the Payette, or a hike to a tucked-away hot spring, this is what keeps our hearts beating.

That’s why, once again this year, we’re opting outside on Black Friday.

We started this tradition years ago, following REI’s lead, because time outside with family, friends, and fresh air is worth way more than any flash sale.

So while the world scrolls and shops, we’ll be soaking in those late-fall rays, chasing steam off the river, or maybe even dipping our toes into an Idaho hot spring.

Because out here, the only thing we’re counting is memories, not markdowns.
